Incorporate protein into your diet at all times

It is definitely hard to keep a healthy body in this polluted world. Air is filled with harmful gases and the polluted surroundings do not help in nurturing a pure body or mind.

The market is taking good advantages of this arising concern about one’s body and producing different types of goods that claim to give you the perfect life. And people in their wish for the same, try these products and often do not get the desired effect.

The best diet one should follow that would ensure a healthy body and mind would contain all the normal staple food that one has been eating at home. Not the tonics and powders with technical names that say they will keep you healthy. A perfect diet is a balanced one which contains all the necessary energy giving foods that is considered compulsory for the body.

Proteins are a very important part of the above mentioned diet. There are many functions in our body that takes place only through the active help of protein secreted hormones. Of course, it is a common fact that our hair and finger nails are mainly just protein. So if your diet is protein deficient the first symptom would be falling hair and yellowing nails. Hemoglobin as everybody knows is that enzyme in our blood that carries oxygen to all the organs in our body is generated by proteins.

Proteins also play an important act in maintaining the immunity that fights germs and illnesses. In fact proteins play a different and significant role in every system of our body and without a steady balanced amount of protein it would be difficult to function the way we do.

The main foods that are high in protein are grains like oatmeal, cornmeal, brown rice, whole wheat bread etc. beans such as kidney beans, soy and lentil are also considered rich in protein. Another product that can be considered filled with just protein is milk and all milk products including all kinds of cheese and rich cream. Eggs are also rich in protein, especially the whites. Fish such as salmon is a very good protein rich dish. Fruits and vegetables also don’t fall back on proteins. Almost all fruits and veggies have high protein content but dates, peaches watermelon, broccoli, beets and carrots have very high content.

Protein is not the only thing that is wanted in your diet. It should have adequate proportions of vitamins, minerals and carbs that will keep you healthy and glowing.
